International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) Fellowship Program.
Fellowships offered through the Freezailah Fellowship Fund to promote human resource development & to strengthen professional expertise in member countries in tropical forestry & related disciplines. The goal is to promote the sustainable management of tropical forests, the efficient use & processing of tropical timber, & better economic information about the international trade in tropical timber.

General Description.
The fellowship program enables young & mid-career people to pursue professional development & improve career prospects. The program supports mainly short-term activities, such as participation in international conferences, training courses, & study tours, but also helps people to prepare manuals & monographs & provides small grants for post-graduate study.
- Fellowships are awarded mainly to nationals of developing countries.
- This scholarship is offered bi-annually to 60 people.
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Forestry sciences or Land, parks and agriculture management.
